Nicholas John Hagen was born in Lodi, California, to Tresa Brandenburg-Hagen, a grade school teacher, and Robert Lester Hagen, a high school maintenance custodian. He started acting in 1998 at a every young age of 7, when he went to the Stockton Theater for an acting programs for kids, shortly after he got his first role in the Children's Summer Theatre production of Tom Sawyer in Lodi, Ca in 1999. A few years past by before Nick would once again be a part of a Lodi Theatre production which was called The Hairy Man in 2002. In 2004 Nick's Father and Mother signed him up for a 40 week acting and modeling school in Sacramento, Ca with the company John Robert Powers. While at the school Nick got to audition for several companies and agencies, until 2005 when his parents divorced and was forced to put that dream on hold. Nick attended Lodi High School in Lodi, Ca, where he graduated in 2009. After graduation he left for the Navy until being discharged in 2013. He then jumped around from job to job until he decided not to wait any longer to pursue his dream of working in the film industry. So in the fall of 2015 he started school at the New York Film Academy in Burbank, Ca, where he studied directing,screenwriting, acting, and production design. He directed a couple short films before he went to the school and asked if he could study production design instead. Since that day Nick has worked in the art department of film.
