Bare Vardic

Bare Vardic, was born on November 17, 1975, in Melina. He holds Croatian and German citizenship and travels with a German passport. He is a Croatian and German independent film Producer. After medical school and high school graduation in Travnik, he studied Audio Engineering at SAE in Munich, and after that also Screenwriting school in Munich. In 1998, he founded Plan B recording studio in Zagreb and released CD "Poslije J nema K" on ZG ZOE Music Label. After that he wrote, composed and produced some songs for Croatian and other singers. In 2012, he formed the production company Plan B Production, and start a new wave of Croatian - German, as well as international genre cinema aimed to appeal to a worldwide audience. In 2016, in Bad Homburg, he was nominated for Vecernjakova Domovnica, as the best Croatian director and producer from outside the homeland. In 2017, he publishes the novel Gastarbajter - Riznica sjecanja, by Redak publisher in Split. In 2019, at the Avant & Una Film Fest in Bihac, he won the Best Debut Feature Film for his feature film Gastarbeiter - Schatzkammer der Erinnerungen. He is a director, screenwriter, director of photography, cutter, actor, composer, songwriter, audio engineer, writer...
