The Boys are an American R&B recording group formed in 1984 and originating from Carson, California. The group (consisting of four brothers Bilal Abdul-Samad, Hakeem Abdul-Samad, Khiry Abdul-Samad, and Tajh Abdul-Samad) signed to Motown Records and released their debut album "Messages from The Boys" on October 29, 1988 which produced the hit single "Dial My Heart" and "Lucky Charm". Their follow-up album "The Boys" was released on September 18, 1990 and produced the hit single "Crazy". The group's third and final album "The Saga Continues..." was released on June 27, 1992. In 1995, the group left the recording industry and changed the group's name to "The Suns of Light". They have relocated to Gambia and continues to record music under their new name.
