Ian Macartney is a Scottish writer. He is known for his work with Ewan McIntosh as screenwriter on the films' Anhedonia (2015) and Rubix (2016), creating the story and main script for each. He is also known for his fiction and poetry; he was a Prizewinner in the RSPB's national competition Wildverse in 2012, a Prizewinner for the Russo-Scottish Pushkin Prizes in 2012 and a Foyle Young Poet in 2014 (in the Commended category) as well as 2015 (in the Prizewinner category).
