Tanya Hendy

Tanya Hendy is a Melbourne based, born and raised actor, writer and director and a full-time graduate of Howard Fine Acting Studio Australia. She is the writer of and main actor in 'All About Toby', which received an Award of Commendation at Canada Shorts and Official Selection at Los Angeles' Indie Short Fest. Other performances include feature films, 'The Perfect Nonsense', 'Kitchen Light', and short films 'Harriet's Hero' and 'Originl Glayzed'. Theatre performances include 'A Scandal in the Weimar' with Melbourne based WIT incorporated and 'Westerly', an extension of 'All About Toby'. She also directed Melbourne Fringe Festival play 'The Reveal', followed by 'Fourplay' with the same ensemble. Tanya enjoys creative writing, singing and staying active. In 2011, as part of musical duo Dit'nTanya, she co-wrote and co-sang 'The Weather', which was played on Triple J Unearthed radio.
