Vorasine Vince Phrommany was born in the landlocked country of Laos in Southeast Asia and when he was only a 1-year old, immigrated with his mother, father and two older siblings to the United States. Of all places, landing in South Dakota - with its beautiful scenery and eclectic characters - is where he found his love for storytelling. After high school, he enlisted in the Army National Guard to help pay for his education at the University of South Dakota. Upon receiving his bachelor's degree in Contemporary Media and Journalism he moved out West for the bright lights of Hollywood. However, as fate would have it, he later accepted a Newscast Producer job for a television station back in the Midwest and paired with an up-and-coming videographer/director by the name of Carlos Omar De Leon. From their fascination with filmmaking, the friendship between the two grew into the collaborative partnership that continues today with Phrommany serving as the writer with De Leon in the director's chair on their projects.
