Britta Dumke (also, known as Britta Dumke-Martin), is one of the most prodigious stage actresses of Germany, because of 65 theater productions, where she performed 42 main roles, and 23 supporting parts, with an amazing total of 1.100 (thousand and hundred) theater performances, in 30 different theaters, in Germany. Brita Dumke first role, the part of "Antigone", in the year 1985, did offer her the opportunity, for her great career in the stage world. Other notable roles, have been the parts of "Iphigenie", "Genoveva", " ;Effie Briest", "Lysistrata", and also, the role of "Lizzi", in the famous stage play "The Rainmaker", wrote by the well known Broadway shows writer, N. Richard Nash. Brita Dumke has studied the art of theater performance, with very famous German stage professors, as Marianne Hoffmann and Mark Cevio-Dalbert. Also, she demonstrated her great talent and skills, as a stage director, in her own mise-en-scène of 10 different theater productions, as the stage production of the "Tin Opener", the somber, WW2, theater play of Victor Lanoux. Britta Dumke is the co-founder of the very famous theaters "Villinger Sommertheaters" and "Theater am Turm" in Villingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and since the years 2012, she is the general administrator (as Britta Martin) of both these theaters. She is further involved as an actress and stage director, with a large number of theater projects, on different stages of Germany.
