Marty Benoit made his foray into acting with, "Liberty Waning" (2016). In the film, he played several roles; a politician, an officer, and the courtroom bailiff. In 2022, he followed that up with "The ELP; A Creature of Legend", playing "Old Dave", the curmudgeon who tells the monster hunters about the creature. He was also executive producer on the production, as well as performing a number of set duties, including prop, set, and movie poster design. Ever curious with an adventurous nature, Marty has been an over-the-road truck driver, traveled several summers with wheat harvest crews, worked a couple of seasons at a ski resort, and plowed fields on his father's farm. He's also been a politician; elected to office and served as a city councilman. Marty creates works of art in ink through Louisiana Ink Art, traveling widely to exhibit his works. He also enjoys being host at his bed and breakfast, The Blue Moon Bungalow, in Bunkie, LA. Marty has had no formal acting training; he looks at things from his customer, guest, or viewer's perspective. This philosophy has served him well. The flexibility of Marty's vocations allow him to take advantage of ongoing opportunities such those in the film world.
