A longtime lover of the arts, Langham-Jones is a writer/producer/director. As a child, she relished being the weird kid that enjoyed watching all the BTS footage for every film she could get her hands on. Upon discovering the extended editions of the Lord of the Rings series and realizing that she had just watched several hours of footage without blinking an eye, she knew that film making was what she was meant to do. As a writer, Langham-Jones enjoys creating dynamic and multidimensional characters. She believes that film is the perfect medium, as the possibilities in what you can create are endless. With her skill in creative problem-solving, resourcefulness, and an annoyingly keen eye for good performance, Langham-Jones endeavors to make films that are honest, raw, and relatable...especially in the more commonly cold and unfeeling genres. As a director, Langham-Jones loves the opportunity to work with talent. For her, it is an amazing privilege to watch actors unravel into new characters. Directing is at it's core is a joy for her. She considers herself blessed to be able to work with the amazing MN Film and TV community and looks forward to many more years of storytelling together. Upcoming directing projects include a web series (Totally Trucked Up!) and two features (one untitled, another which she wrote: Out of the Eater). She has also in the last year had the distinct honor of being a part of various network TV gigs and commercials for MTV, TLC, and others, as well as local film competitions and creations. When she is not writing or directing, she can be found singing like an idiot, participating in movie marathons, and enjoying dinner with friends.
