Rana Terrell

Rana Terrell was born in New York City, raised in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, NY. Throughout her childhood and adolescence, she was exposed to different mediums, such as music, film and television. Her imagination and love for writing led her to pursue and obtain a BA in Film Studies from Hunter College. After graduating, Rana wrote a series of screenplays One of which, entitled "New Sensation", became a Finalist at the 2010 Beverly Hills Film Festival Screenplay Competition. She also completed a series of short films. She recently began to expand her range as an artist by becoming a photographer. Starting out as a hobby, Rana would take photographs of family, friends, and volunteer her talents at her home church, Prayer Temple of Bronx, NY. She then decided to capture the beauty of people from all walks of life. "I want to help others make their dreams come true, as well as do what I have dreamed of for nearly my entire life."
