MaryKathryn Kopp (MK) is an actor, writer, and producer based in Nashville and New York. In 2018, she graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a concentration on theatre and film performance, as well as literature and creative writing. She's trained with the Upright Citizen's Brigade, Moscow Art Theatre School, and the Prague Film School. She's been working in theater and film since 2005. In 2018, MK was cast in Hitler's Tasters, a play by Michelle Kholos-Brooks, performing in New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles and at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The play is slated to premiere in East Hampton, NY in September 2021. MK is a Resident Artist with New Light Theater Project. In June 2019, MK founded La Loba Films. She produced, co-wrote, and co-starred in La Loba's first short film, Slip, in November 2019. Her company's second short film, It's Not You, It's Her, was filmed during quarantine in October 2020 and was released in April 2021. In addition to acting, writing, and producing, MK was the Communications Associate for Adam Driver's non-profit, Arts in the Armed Forces for three years. She now is a producer for Ben Folds' podcast, Lightning Bugs.
