Louis John Cooke

Louis John Cooke was born in Oxford England on December 22nd 1998 to Barry and Helen Cooke. In the early 2000's the family moved to Brisbane Australia not long before moving back where Louis would start school at Batt's school in Witney, England. In mid 2000's the family moved back to Australia this time to the Mornington Peninsula in the state of Victoria. Louis attended most of his primary school life here and started high school in 2011 and is currently in year 12 (2016). Louis' Film making life started back in 2011 where he would make small funny videos, gaining more experience through companies such as 'Film Riot' where he put his new skills to test and created his first short film. Louis himself stared in this short horror film where he began his first works in After Effects Cs6. In 2015 Louis released his first short 'Concealment' staring Nick Worrall and Tia Mclean. This film Won first place in the Mornington Youth Shire Film Festival and has been used for youth Seminars such as Live Out Loud. The film has also been taken over seas and used by software company "Adobe" in presentations to show what can be done with their programs. Concealment is currently entered in the 'Made In Melbourne' Film festival. Louis has made other promotional films such as 'Balloons' with is an anti-bullying short which as also been used for numerous seminars and shown around the world and has also received recognition by 'Adobe,' and has been used at the 'Harcourts Realestate,' event which included guests such as Sir Ian Botham. Louis began his acting career in 2015 where he stared in his first short 'Moving On' by Thomas Farnill. Since then Louis has appeared on Neighbours and TVC's such as Golden Circle Juice. Louis Recently completed working on the film 'Confined' directed by Tia Mclean, Louis was the Cinematographer, camera man and the editor on the film. his second short film 'Miles Away,' staring Barry Cooke and has a planned release date for September 1st 2016. Louis has plans to attend Swinburne Uni in 2017 however has another short which will soon be entering Pre-Production. ~2016
