David Kashi

David was born in New York City and despite claiming to be a New Yorker, he grew up in New Jersey. Through his experience as a journalist & then producer for TV/Film, coupled with his years of improv, sketch & acting training/performing, David has developed a niche over the years: a hybrid of journalism, writing, producing & comedy. An alumni of Northwestern University's graduate journalism program, David was a former world reporter later transitioning into TV/Film. He was part of the creative team and research producer of "Adam Ruin's Everything" on truTV. As a journalist David gained countless experience producing stories from the field. Reporting from Cyprus, Turkey, the Philippines and navigating the high-profiled politics of Washington D.C. David's first-hand-experiences sharpened his producing and journalistic-instincts. All the while continuing to follow his one true love, comedy.
