Arpita Pattanayak

Arpita Pattanayak, born and brought up in kolkata is a student of English Literature from Calcutta University. She is a storyteller from childhood. Writing stories and poems were her hobby. The passion for stories and literature eventually converted into the desire to tell those stories through films. After learning filmmaking from many workshops in Delhi besides doing a corporate job for survival, she started working as a filmmaker ten years back. She started her career in Delhi with documentaries for different corporate wings. Then she moved to Mumbai. For the last seven years she is working in Bollywood. After working as an assistant director in numerous Hindi films, she started directing corporate and AD films for Gemco Sydney, Birla Insurance, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Faircent portal, Ajmera Group, Raunak Groups. She co- directed two feature films "Brina" and "Track the Mystery", which are ready to release in 2020. Arpita's two feature film and one web series is under production as a writer , and one feature film under pre production as a director , apart from this she is Co- Founder of a Media Company Films By FilmBuffs , company which has given logistic production facilities in more than 120 feature film , has Co- Distributed 24 Hindi and regional Films .
