Dominique Bouchard

Professional swimmer, Dominique Bouchard was born on May 29, 1991. She was born in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada and grew up in Kirkland Lake, Toronto and later moved North Bay, Ontario. She is the daughter of Marise and Yvan Bouchard. Her parents enrolled Dominique in a baby swim class when she was 10 months old and by 7 years old she was competitively swimming. In 2014, she graduated from the University of Missouri, with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and Bachelor of Science in biology. She later went on to earn a masters degree in Health Care Administration in 2016. After retiring from competitive swimming in 2017, she decided to pursue a career in the medical field. Dominique is attending the Northern Ontario School of Medicine in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
