Bill Thomas grew up in Austin, Texas. His father was a physician and Bill started playing drums at early age. Bill played in many local bands including the Primitive Moderns, The Rockhounds and Slow Motion. Slow Motion opened up for The Police on their first American tour. Bill also owned a small music store and sold instruments to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Johnson. Bill started playing guitar and writing songs and recorded two CD's of his original music. The CD's are "The Love Doctor and "Turn the Dice." Bill also started writing screenplays and has written two full length entitled "Tres Hombres" and "The Loose Quarter." Bill was also an extra in the full length movie "Heartbreak Hotel" that was filmed in Austin. Bill has also written a novella entitled "The Three Souls." The books and CD's are all available on Amazon and CD Baby. Bill uses a stage name of Bill James for his music. You can access Bill's CD's and books through his websites.
