Leon Shelly

Leon Shelly is an aspiring actor from New Orleans, LA. who, as a kid, always dreamed of becoming a Professional athlete or an undercover cop. However, those dreams were pushed aside when he met Mr. Ron Flagge, a Substitute Teacher, who then introduced Leon to something more exciting, called ACTING! Leon was highly impressed that Mr. Ron Flagge, being an actor himself, having starred in many movies. Mr. Ron Flagge, later shared stories and bought a binder with pictures of himself and cast members. It was that exact day the dream of one day become an actor started for Leon Shelly! Since Ron Flagge was only the substitute teacher for a short period of time the questions of "How to get started" were never answered due to him being transferred a couple of days later. A little after graduating high school is when Leon finally got his chance at acting after being introduced to a guy by the name of Earl Singleton who was looking to cast a lead male actor in his Stage Play entitled " Issues Miss Understandings and Uncle Buddies Remedies". It was during this opportunity that Leon was discovered and signed by one of the worlds most respected agents, Tosha Mills Smith of Talent Connexion. Leon has trained with Acting Coaches Jim Gleason and currently Trazi Lashawn. Currently, Leon has starred in his first film entitled " A Hat Is Not Enough", in which received a NAFCA Awards for Best Short Docu Film
