Alan Michael Berman was born in a blizzard in Philadelphia, PA. Alan attended Cornell University where he received a degree in Architecture as well as minoring in Cornell's MFA program. He eventually made his way to New York City where he studied with Stella Adler. Small recurring soap opera and some film parts came his way in New York City in the 1980s. Alan eventually moved to Los Angeles in January of 1988 where he worked in guest starring and recurring roles in numerous television series as well as additional roles in film into the 1990s. He is most recently known for his comical lead role in the award winning independent film "A Convenient Truth"; a parody of Al Gore's film "An Inconvenient Truth" where he garnered rave reviews. Alan works and resides in New York City.
