Art Berger is a composer, director, vocal performer and actor, best known for his Emmy award winning documentary and ESPN television work. He has received Eighteen Emmy nominations including two nods for best director. He has won Emmy's for Best Live Audio, (2013-15) and Best Sports Series Production (2012), Best Director and Best Sports Director (2019). He also received two Presidential "Hammer" awards for government service from President Bill Clinton for his role in NASA education film production "Mission Earth" s well as the NASA Remote Sensing Project which helped launch Google Earth. His professional credits include: Director of Presentations for Turner Broadcasting/AOL Time Warner, consultant for the George Lucas Educational Foundation as well as Lead Creative Strategist for McKesson Medical Corporation. He was previously a Director and Producer for NASA Education and received two Hammer Awards for Government/Media Service from President Clinton for the NASA film "Mission Earth" He served as Video Director and TD Director for Amy Grant and Vince Gill's live tour in Atlanta, Georgia. He previously was signed by Sony/Tree for songwriting and has has won over thirty national awards for his, press coverage, photography and direction with ESPN, PBS, Headline News, CNN, and NBC news. Art has also launched national online media coverage with Turner including Pokemon, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, CNN and TBS. The PBS documentary "The Great Mississippi River Road" which he both directed and scored and featuring music by BB King, won a Public Television Gold Broadcasters Award. He has worked in a professional capacity with Disney, GLEF, Kennedy Marshall, Microsoft, Turner, PBS and NBC News. Art Berger attended Brown University and graduated in (1986). He attended the University of Southern California's film and music program for graduate work. He appeared in numerous films including "Naked Gun", "Road House and "How I got Into College".
