Cary Bickley went to Wesleyan University where she both acted and began her writing career with one act plays such as "April" and "Adam's Spare Rib". She worked in New York until she moved to Los Angeles with the idea for The Gun In Betty Lou's Handbag. In 2017 her half hour comedy pilot "Gamers" was a Just For Laughs script finalist. Her humor essays have been published by such magazines as Glamour, Taxi, Brides, Wondertime and Family Fun.
