Jeremy Blackman will always be remember as the pressured and suffering Stanley from P.T. Anderson masterpiece Magnolia (1999), where the kid echoes sad expressions moments from the silent classic Dreyer film The Passion of Joan of Arc (1928). He showcases pain, fragility, a turmoil of emotion while facing an abusive father and the pressure of his peers during the Jimmy Gator show. Blackman gained notoriety with the role, a few awards and nominations, and appreciation from his fans who watch the monumental film several times. Little is known about him besides the film except that he starred in a few others and he's also part of a band, where he sings, composes and plays. He is the son of Ian Blackman, who is accomplished actor.
