Sarah Blaßkiewitz studied film (camera) at the Beuth University in Berlin and worked at the same time in the directing and camera department for film productions. From 2016 to 2017 she attended Thomas Heise's film class at the Academy of Arts Vienna. Her first feature film, "Precious Ivie", celebrated its premiere at the Munich Film Festival in 2021 and received the rating "Particularly Valuable". Among other things, it was awarded Best Film at the German Film Festival and received the Guild Film Prize of the Art Cinemas 2021. At the same time, Blaßkiewitz directed four episodes of the web series "Druck". In 2022, the series "Sam a Saxon" from Disney+, based on true events, for which she was awarded the Grimme Prize 2024. The comedy series "Oh Hell" (Season 2) is currently running on Magenta TV and soon as MAX Original in the USA. Sarah is currently preparing her second feature film.
