Marina Bonfigli was an Italian actress, active in theater, film, radio and television. Graduated in the forties, when she was still eighteen, National Academy of Dramatic Arts, she worked for several famous theaters and theater companies, including that of the Piccolo Teatro of Milan - where she was an interpreter in "L'opera da tre soldi" by Bertolt Brecht, directed by Giorgio Strehler, in "Splendore e miseria di Joachim Murieta", Pablo Neruda, directed by Patrice Chéreau, and "Arlecchino servitore di due padroni" by Goldoni, still directed by Strehler. She then starred in classics of the repertoire for the Teatro Stabile di Torino and the Teatro Stabile del Veneto. In the film debuted with Nino Manfredi in "Torna a Napoli", film of 1949, while in the theater made her debut at the age of seventeen in "Il ventaglio" by Carlo Goldoni, which was directed by Orazio Costa. In 1956 she married the actor Paolo Ferrari (which has since separated), met while performing in Vivi Gioi company and Luigi Cimara. From their marriage were born two sons: Fabio, actor, and Daniel. Since the eighties, the company has made with Giulio Bosetti. Since 2011 she was artistic director of the Teatro Carcano in Milan. She died on the morning of December 10, 2015 at the Policlinico Agostino Gemelli in Rome at the age of 84 years.
