Aaron Boyd

Aaron Boyd is a Los Angeles-based producer known for his work on major box office hits at Sony, Warner Brothers, Columbia, Lionsgate, 20th Century Fox, DreamWorks, and Netflix. His independent films have premiered at Sundance, TIFF, and Tribeca and have been nominated for multiple Independent Spirit Awards and Gotham Awards. Recently, he developed and will be producing the Warner Brothers sci-fi thriller ARES, directed by Oscar-winning director Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump). His credits as a producer, executive producer, and co-founder of Public House films include the critically-acclaimed, Sundance Audience Award-nominated, and 4x Independent Spirit Award-nominated COLUMBUS (John Cho, Haley Lu Richardson, Sundance 2017), the Warner Bros. feature 10,000 BC (Clive Curtis, Omar Shariff), the blockbuster smash 2012 (John Cusack, Woody Harrelson) for Sony Pictures, the PBS feature documentary LAST WILL & TESTAMENT (Vanessa Redgrave, Mark Rylance), Netflix's THE KINDERGARTEN TEACHER (Maggie Gyllenhaal, Sundance 2018), The CW's FRAMING JOHN DELOREAN (Alec Baldwin, Tribeca 2019), MADELINE'S MADELINE (Sundance 2018), THE DARK DIVIDE (David Cross, Debra Messing), the feature documentary THE UNITED STATES OF INSANITY (Fathom Events 2021), and the upcoming GREEN AND GOLD starring Craig T. Nelson, Brendan Sklenar, and M. Emmett Walsh, which can be seen in theaters in January 2025. Before becoming a producer, Aaron served as Director of Development for Centropolis Entertainment (Independence Day, Godzilla) and during his tenure was instrumental in the development and production of Columbia Pictures' THE PATRIOT (Mel Gibson, Heath Ledger), Warner Brothers' EIGHT LEGGED FREAKS (Scarlett Johannson), 20th Century Fox's THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW (Jake Gyllenhaal, Dennis Quaid), and Lionsgate's TRADE (Kevin Kline).
