Raised on a steady diet of Marvel Comics, Science Fiction, Musical Theater and Action Movies from the 80's and 90's, Andrew Bowen is a multi-talented actor/writer/director/producer who's infectious passion for cinema, comedy and character-driven storytelling has been the driving force behind his more than two decades of work in the film and television industry. After his hilarious debut as Jack Freemont in Capcom's live-action "Fox Hunt" game, Bowen become a series regular on Fox's comedy series Mad TV (where his impressions of Keanu Reeves and Nic Cage are legendary). Bowen continued to find success as an actor appearing in dozens of TV series, Independent Film and well over 150 national commercials. Bowen has worked with industry legends from Uma Thurman, Gale Anne Hurd (Aliens, The Walking Dead), James Mangold (Logan, Ford VS Ferrari), Lasse Hallström (What's Eating Gilbert Grape) and more. Some notable feature credits include roles in Blumhouse's Holidays, All For Nikki, Conjurer, The Work & The Glory (part 1 and 2) and Rock Jocks. Some TV appearances include Shameless, NCIS, NCIS:LA, Magic City and Leverage. Bowen has lent his considerable voice-over talents to brands like Lexus, Jeep, NAVY and McDonalds - and has been featured in some of the most successful video game titles of all time - including his work as Johnny Cage in WB's hugely popular Mortal Kombat X and MK11. An accomplished screenwriter and director, Bowen's first feature "Along The Way" (which he wrote, directed and played a supporting role) was a film festival darling and award winner that went on to be released on Netflix in 2008. Bowen got back behind the camera in 2018, making the comedic sci-fi, action-adventure short film The 716th. Written, directed, produced, edited and starring Bowen (who also served as the production designer), The 716th world premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. The critical praised, award winning and wildly entertaining short became a hit with audiences both at Tribeca and with its release on Amazon Prime (where Bowen was awarded a bonus for audience engagement). Bowen is currently developing a large and dynamic slate of film & TV projects with fellow 716th producer/VFX supervisor Jon Alvord (Some Assembly Required) that include his comedic sci-fi, adventure trilogy The Mcauliffe Equation, a white knuckle Christmas action film Decision Height, his hilarious redneck male Flashdance, Don't Fight The Feelin' and an expanded universe and TV series based off his hit The 716th.
