Poppy Z. Brite

Poppy Z. Brite is one of the most successful and prolific horror writers to emerge from the 1990's. The vast majority of her work features blatant homosexual eroticism, references to modern gothic culture and lush descriptions of American southern landscapes. She has written four novels, one biography and a short novella as of 2000, but her preference (and specialty) lies in the short story, of which several collections have been printed in the past 10 years.
