Eddie Buchanan got his start singing in British clubs during the 1950s, winning some club awards. He later made appearances on The Benny Hill Show (1969), playing various roles and performing musical numbers. One of these musical numbers happened to be "Going Nowhere." After his time on the show ended, he and his wife developed a comedy act that they took to various places around the world. He also recorded a cover of the song "My Special Angel." He died on April 24, 1987, after a long illness following a heart operation. He was 47.
