New York-based actor Richard Brundage was born in Seattle and grew up in Woodbridge, Virginia and La Spezia, Italy, with significant detours through Providence (the one in Rhode Island) and Falmouth, Massachusetts. In his early teens he attended baseball camp AND band camp (not at the same time) and loved both. Before taking up acting, he pursued several careers, including high-school math teacher, word-processing "specialist," semi-professional French hornist, librarian, classical music engraver/editor, and quasi-obsessed amateur volleyball player. At the age of 39, pretty much on a whim, he signed up for a couple of acting classes at HB Studio in Manhattan. Soon he was acting full-time. He's played leading roles in several feature films, including Lena Dunham's "Creative Nonfiction," Gorman Bechard's "You Are Alone," and Winn Coslick's "Fourhand." His fifty-plus indie roles have been seen at film festivals all over the planet. Onstage, in addition to numerous New York productions, he's performed in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Florida, Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan and Illinois.
