Metin Bükey

Metin Bukey was also the composer of the hit and very popular song "Samanyolu" in Turkey, which translates to "The Milkyway". This was is a classic cult song in the memory of the Turkish people and is remembered widely up to this date. This song was also sung and covered by the Dutch singer David Alexandre Winter under the name "Oh Lady Mary" in 1969 and popularized in France and Europe. From David Alexandre Winter's version, the French epic singer Dalida and the German singer Karel Gott also made their covers of "Oh Lady Mary".
