Milla Jovovich

“To be an actor, you have to know yourself really well. That's been a major thing for me, to really understand why I do things.” Milla Jovovich is a well-known actress, model, and musician. She first gained fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s as a model and transitioned into acting. She made her film debut in the 1988 film Two Moon Junction. Her role in Return to the Blue Lagoon (1991) further established her as a promising young actress. Jovovich’s big break came with Luc Besson's The Fifth Element (1997), where she played Leeloo, a role that made her an international star. In 2002, she began starring as Alice in the Resident Evil film series, a role that would become iconic and define much of her career. The series was a commercial success and led to multiple sequels. She also has appeared in a range of films including The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999), Zoolander (2001), and Hellboy (2019). In 1994, Jovovich released her debut album The Divine Comedy. Her music career, while less prominent than her acting, showcases her talent as a singer-songwriter.
