Keith Collea

Initially delving into the world of experimental film at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, Collea embarked on a multifaceted journey that would see a fusion of art and discipline. Following a four-year tenure in the Marine Corps as a skilled engineer, Collea pursued higher education at the University of Kentucky, the University of Arizona and UCLA. Ultimately, this odyssey culminated in the attainment of an MFA in Drama, Dance, and Film. During these formative years, Collea established "Tenth St. Danceworks," a venture that propelled him onto the global stage as a performer, choreographer, Technical Director, and filmmaker. Collea's unique vision and talent manifested in a series of acclaimed films, including "Long Story Short," "L'Anniversaire," and "Visual Feets," which he expertly produced, directed, and edited. Collea's exceptional work garnered numerous accolades, such as the prestigious Cine Golden Eagle, the Significant American Short award from the Mill Valley Film Festival, and earning the distinction of being a finalist in various esteemed film competitions.
