Joel Hynek

Joel grew up in the Chicago area and was the son of famous astronomer J. Allen Hynek who spearheaded the investigation of UFOs for the U.S. Air Force in the 1950s, including Project Blue Book. Joel experimented with rocketry as he grew up, and he enjoyed the visual effects he could produce. His brother is Paul Hynek.
