Alba was born in Brooklyn, New York to Brazilian and Italian parents with a multi-cultural heritage. At the age of six, she was chosen to display her art at the Art Exhibit Salute for Creative Youth in her hometown of Brooklyn, New York and the storytelling champion of her district. Alba is a graduate of the Sanford Meisner Conservatory programs in New York City, she trained with William Esper 2001-2005, Maggie Flanigan 2007-2010 and Terry Knickerbocker 2020. She studied classical theater at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, Shakespeare at The New School in New York and at Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum with Ellen Geer in Los Angeles. She trained with Alec Baldwin at South Hampton College. She is a graduate of The Actors Movement Studio program and is a tango and flamenco dancer. While in New York, she created and performed her character in the Off-Broadway show, Sleep No More from 2011-2017. She wrote the book and lyrics and is the creator, writer, and lead actor in the Off-Broadway immersive musical, Serenade, which was featured in The New York Times and The New York Times Explorer. She's acted and performed stunts on several TV Shows and Films, including; NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001), AMC's Dietland (2018), Amazon's The Tick (2016), Netflix's The Good Cop (2018), Darren Aronofsky's Noah (2014), Joss Whedon's The Avengers (2012), Tony Scott's The Taking of Pelham 123 (2009), Michael Cuesta's Tell Tale (2009), The Shoemaker (2012) and opposite Paul Giamatti in Showtime's Billions (2016).
