Chintamani was born on the Gold Coast, Australia. She started acting as a child, while being home schooled, due to much travel around the world. Living a Gypsy lifestyle, she became a chameleon at adapting to new people and surroundings, that has contributed to her rich resource of acting skills. It was her passion for cultural education that had her continue to do theater, film and tv wherever she lived. With many student films, working professionally in the industry on both TV and Film, Music Clips and volunteer work, acting in scenarios for the 'Emergency Services', 'QLD Ambulance Services', 'The Law Society', 'RBH Hospital', 'Mater Private Hospital', 'QLD Fire Dept.', 'Qld Paramedics', she has a rich understanding of the different mediums used to communicate in storytelling. While studying at the Actors Workshop in Brisbane, Australia, she made many community projects, come to life. Also working with a fantastic company, 'Only Entertainment' they collaborated on many improv. productions. Now living in the USA she is writing a screenplay that she is to act in. She began her career in Costume in the USA in 1990 working on a lifestyle program. Since returning to Australia she worked on numerous national and international, multi award winning, commercials, music videos and still photography, including Coca Cola, Glad (USA), Darren Hayes, Ben Harper, Efes (Russia), Genki (Norway), etc., as a Makeup Artist and Costume Designer. Chintamani began working with Michael and Peter Spierig on their short film, 'The Big Picture' and forged a successful work dynamic. Chintamani completed work on 'Undead', as both the Costume Designer and Makeup Artist and went on to do Blurred. She has had the continued good fortune of working with academy award winners, such as, Peter Frampton, Janty Yates, Andrew Lesnie and John Seale.
