Edgar Anzola was born on March 27, 1883 in Villa de Cura, Aragua, Venezuela. He was a director and writer, known for La trepadora (1924), Amor, tú eres la vida (1926) and El dique de Petaquire (1927). He was married to Margot Golding and María de Lourdes Gadea. He died on December 14, 1981 in Caracas, Venezuela.
