Peter Baxter is a filmmaker and President and co-founder of Slamdance. Since its inception as an alternative to the Sundance Film Festival, Baxter has been responsible for developing Slamdance into a showcase for emerging artists organized by filmmakers for filmmakers. Baxter is known for Wild in the Streets (2012), I Want to Be an American (2013) and Spirit Game (2017).
