Was born in Wilrijk (Antwerp) Belgium in 1966. Trained with Herbert Flack in Drama at the Municipal Academy of Word and Music in Hoboken and with Peter De Smet and Steve Collins for Music at the Royal Conservatory for Music in Brussels. During this period he worked as an insurance consultant. After some forays into television and film in Belgium he turned to the German stage where he has been playing musicals ever since.
