Born in Trinidad & Tobago, Ted Davis attended W.B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi, Texas, and was very active in his high school speech-debate team, as well as the film making club. His short animated film 'Bug Family Robinson' won first place in the 1979 Texas State Film Festival. After high school, Ted studied theatre at The University at Austin, and was also a member of the famed vaudeville musical-comedy troupe Esther's Follies. He then went on to spend over twenty years in Hollywood as a stand-up comedian and actor, as well as also working as a professional photographer.
