Ryan Davis

John "Ryan" Davis or Flyin' Ryan Davis is a local Austin, Texas filmmaker. He has worked in film production since 1988 on a free-lance basis. He works full-time at the State Of Texas as a Multi-Media Technician. He has worked on approximately 30+ films in Texas. He has floated from crew PA/Grip/Art Department/Camera Assistant to working as an Extra on big Hollywood Budget films. He has been producing/directing/and acting in his own short films since 2001. He currently likes to direct/produce/write/act/and do VO work. He has a lovely wife; Julie and two boys. He is an award-winning and international film director/producer. His short film in 2017/2018- A World Of Difference has premiered in Chile at a film festival and it has been selected for 3 film festivals in L.A. It won a Platinum Award at the L.A. Short Film Festival and was selected as a Semi-Finalist in another festival. Ryan uses his love and knowledge of film and filmmaking to bring scripts to life with vibrant comedic/dramatic actors who also know how to improvise. He enjoys sticking to the script then allowing the actors to improvise and puting the best performances on screen. His next goal is to produce/direct a feature film and get it distributed. He makes movies to entertain audiences. His true passion and love for filmmaking and working as an actor/director allows his cast to relate.
