Judy was born and raised in the West Village in New York City and took her first acting class as a teen at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She graduated with a BA in Theater Arts from Trinity College, Hartford, CT and studied at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, as well as with Mel Shapiro and Karlin Glynn. Most recently she was a student of the late Milton Katselas and the Beverly Hills Playhouse and in New York was a member of the late George DiCenzo's Master Class. She has studied improv with Alan Arkin and performed with the improv companies THE VILLAGE SOAPS and PRESENTS OF MIND. She has two sitcoms that are in development, one of which placed in the top six in the Scriptapalooza competition and the other which placed 2nd at the LA Comedy Festival and was given a staged reading at the Beverly Hills Playhouse. She also adapted the screenplay for the award-winning short film NORTH OF PROVIDENCE.
