France Demoulin is a Belgian-born actress holding both U.S. and Belgian passports. She became active in a local theater group and landed her fist modeling gig and TV commercial spot while still in middle school. Soon after, she nailed an audition with Alain Cunny for his movie "Morphée". Though too young for the role, the director insisted to her parents that she move to Paris to become an actress, so she did! She studied at the famous Parisian school "Cours Florent" and a year later landed her first supporting actress role in a film by award-winning French director Pierre Granier-Deferre, "Private Tuition". She was then noticed by Francis Huster who cast her in his film "On a Volé Charlie Spencer!". After the birth of her daughter, Laura Serafini, she moved to Rome, Italy where she was cast as the lead in "Supplì", directed by Vincenzo Verdecchi and presented at the Settimana della Critica of the Venice Film Festival. The film was a success and Demoulin was immediately cast in "Take me Away", which was nominated at the Italian Golden Globe for best screenplay by Gianluca Maria Tavarelli and Leonardo Fasoli. The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival. Demoulin won Best actress at the festival of Sulmona and at the Arezzo festival and appeared on the cover of the Italian Esquire. In 1996, France was cast in many American commercials, and she decided to move to the U.S. Shortly after, France was offered her green card and became a SAG/AFTRA actress. In the summer of 2005, Laura was the victim of a tragic banana boat accident which took her life. Crushed, France chose to heal in Los Angeles where her daughter was buried. It was there she met her favorite actor, Tim Robbins, who hired her as the French History consultant for the play "Tartuffe" by Molière. Several times she found herself rehearsing on stage with Tim Robbins and was eventually accepted as a lifelong member of his troupe, The Actor's Gang. There she was cast in the show "Atomic Free Fall", directed by Stefan Haves from Cirque du Soleil. She was ecstatic to have once again found her "Joie de Vivre" on stage singing and dancing. In 2016, she became a U.S. citizen and appeared in the award-winning TV show "The Fosters" directed by Johanna Johnson, along with "Good Trouble" directed by Peter Paige. Being trilingual in English, French, and Italian, France resides between Europe and the U.S.
