Kimberly Arland grew up in the Twin Cities with diverse, eclectic and multi-talented family and surroundings. From child-hood, she was immersed in acting, dance, choreography, touring, boxing, martial arts, sports, modeling and music - with great experiences arising early. Before the age of 13, she had her own performance company - personally booking gigs with large companies, she was a special-request performer for Sammy Davis Jr. to tap at his birthday party, was touring with her family's performance troupe and had modeled for countless magazines and catalogues. Before the age of 17, she had written and toured a couple of her own plays, had several sports and academic scholarship offers, was a Student Teacher (dance and acting), a Student Counselor at her own high school, taught dance all over the Twin Cities, was a teacher for an advanced Musical Theater college summer program, was being managed and booked all over the Midwest with her hip-hop crew and was deep into the Twin City's rich theater scene. By 23, she had already worked with Prince on several projects, had managed her first Talent Management Company, been in 4 different bands and been on tour as a singer/dancer/choreographer and had been in several national commercials. Since then, along with continuous acting and voice over work, she has managed a record company, photography studio, a second Talent Agency, Scouting Agency, Talent Development Company, and worked in full-time (Christian) ministry for more than 10 years as a Television Production Director and Consultant. This is where she developed as a Non-linear Editor and Motion Graphics Artist while also being hired by various ministries to train their staff in TV Production. Within a month after moving to Los Angeles, she was fortunate enough to book her first starring role in a (yet unreleased) movie, "Lady Samurai". Since then, Kimberly has continued acting on multiple platforms, has been touring and working with Eastern Sky Theatre Company, and has continued developing her directing and producing muscles by working on several video, television and live production projects.
