Bruce Dickson's family history is a rich tapestry of behind-the-scenes talent that have lived and worked in Hollywood since 1919. As a teenager, Mr. Dickson started his professional career as an Animation Cameraman on the classic film "Tron." After graduating from U.C Berkeley with a degree in film studies, his interest focused primarily on being a director of photography and documentary filmmaker. Becoming thee driving force as Producer/Director for the multi Emmy Nominated and Emmy winning series: "Artbound." Most recently in 2016 winning an Emmy as a producer for this series. Also, Bruce Dickson is a winner of three Golden Mike awards, Four L.A. Press Club Awards - 2012 to 2016 and voted LA Weekly Best Art & Culture Site in Los Angeles. His technical understanding of film and artistic insight have embodied special photographic accomplishments for feature films such as "Jack Reacher 2", "The Fast & The Furious", "Crimson Tide" "Spiderman 2 & 3" & "Superman Returns" to name a few. He has amassed an incredible array of credits in commercial work for numerous multi-national brands including AT&T, DISH, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Chevy, Hilton Hotels, Formula 1, NASCAR, Cartoon Network, and Gillette. His most-viewed work in television is the opening credit sequence of the enormously successful NBC sitcom, "Friends". He has directed numerous music videos for Warner Brothers Records, Interscope Records and Capitol Records for such artists as Billy Corgan, Shelby Lynne, Josh Groban and many others. Being nominated for MVPA Best Music Video of the year in 2004. Mr. Dickson has continued the family tradition in perfecting his craft behind the camera with his profound work in the film medium, not to mention his technical savvy within the continuously advancing digital realm. These professional experiences have brought a confident and creative energy with fresh ideas to his work. His unique visual style expresses an intimacy between the artist and his camera.
