Emílio Dumas was an actor, born January 3, 1898 (Registered January 4, 1899) on the neighborhood of Brás, in São Paulo, SP, Brazil. Son of immigrants from the Veneto region in Italy. He was married to Margarida Bianchi Cestari. His birth name is Fortunato Cestari. Died on November 15, 1968 (age 70). At the age of 18 he was already part of the amateur stage of the Escola de Plástica e Amigos do Teatro. His first cinematographic works, around 1921, was the movies Perversidade and Como Deus Castiga of Jose Medina and Gilberto Rossi. Later in the film Do Rio a São Paulo para casar in the role of a Judge . And then, as Emilio Dumas, acted in other films like Escrava Isaura (1929) in the role of the father of Isaura; Eufemia (1927) in the role of Theodorico; As Rosas de Nossa Senhora (1930) in the role of Duque de Evora ; O Mistério do Dominó Negro (1931) in the role of Comendador Fernando; Casa de Caboclo (1931); Carnaval em Lá Maior (1955); Fugitivos da Vida (1956); Dioguinho (1957) e Padroeira do Brasil (1956). As Fortunato Cestari he acted in the films The Landowner's Daughter (1953) and O Capanga (1957).
