Southern California native Royce (Allen) Dudley is a Writer / Director / Producer. As a cinematographer, his credits include over 40 scripted feature films & countless fashion, fitness, technology & sport projects for companies ranging from Zumba, Brother & Toshiba to Nestle, Hot Topic, AT&T U-Verse & FUEL-TV. Royce's music videos range from dozens of underground hip hop & alternative acts to diverse label-backed artists like YG, Sammy Hagar, Eamon & Hypernova. Royce has been a frequent collaborator on seminal FMX projects from Adam Barker including the M80 (2004) series & the multi-fest winning Slamdance '10 feature documentary The Mind of the Demon (2009). Royce has also shot all the feature & short narrative projects to date for rising Director Paul Morrell, & has teamed with Kedar Korde on several followup projects to their first collaboration, the 35mm indie feature X's & O's (2007). Often featured today in seminar, panel discussion & lecture appearances, Royce Dudley is considered by many to be a pioneer of modern independent filmmaking, having produced his first feature film, " Say Hello", in 1981 at the age of 19. With DIY-cinema roots dating to the mid 1970's, his first 8mm Kodachrome movies were created in his native Santa Barbara using costumes & props borrowed from a local theater company & volunteer classmates as actors and crew. Among those early collaborators was a then-13 year old Anthony Edwards.
