Tim Dutton (born in 1964 in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England) is an English actor of film and television. Dutton began as a stage performer in British theatre and made his screen debut in 1991. His mainstream screen credits are easily linked with numerous roles on television including Ally McBeal (1997) as the love interest to the series lead Calista Flockhart. His big screen credits involve high-profile movies starring a score of big-time Hollywood stars. These films include the Harrison Ford actioner Patriot Games (1992), The Bourne Identity (2002) starring 'Matt Damon' and The Detonator (2006) starring Wesley Snipes. In recent years, entering the 2010s, Tim Dutton has appeared on various British television series such as Midsomer Murders (1997), New Tricks (2003) Inspector Lewis (2006) Harley Street (2008), and DCI Banks (2010).
