Radu Dunareanu

Radu Dunareanu was a Romanian film and theatre actor and director .He was born on June 3, 1926 in Galati, Romania. On his real name Virgil Constantin, the stage name - Radu Dunareanu - was given to him by Maria Tanase herself, due to the fact that he was from the Danube. He graduated from Royal Romanian Dramatic Art in 1945.In 1960, he plays first role in the movie Telegrame. Other notable roles in The forest of the hanged (1965), Colierul de turcoaze (1986) and Masca de argint (1985).He died on March 23, 2006 in Bucuresti, Romania.
