Kevin first became interested in the film business while attending graduate school in Tallahassee, Florida (Florida State University) studying meteorology. He made is debut as a glorified extra on a small independent film named Rose's. While working on this film he was also part of the crew and was bitten forever by the film bug. Kevin then became mostly interested in performing stunts on film more so than just acting. He decided to test himself in 1995 to see if he could perform stunts by jumping out of a perfectly safe airplane and from that day forward the stuntman's seed was planted. He continued doing stunt training by studying martial arts and then fencing. One day after he moved to Raleigh, NC Kevin discovered a small play being performed and joined the cast as a stunt performer in the play Oklahoma!. There he met a man from a stage stunt group called the SAFD (Society of American Fight Directors) and then became involved with sword and stage combat. This led to other theatrical roles of Romeo and Juliet (a ballet) and other small productions. One day when he decided to move from Raleigh he met a small independent film group in Wilmington, North Carolina called Studio F. Shortly afterwards he moved to Wilmington and under the wise tutelage of Joe Congema became more involved with stunts for film. From there he worked on some films as performer, quickly advancing to stunt safety and assistant coordinator. Shortly thereafter he started accepting roles as stunt coordinator. Both Kevin and Joe would work on separate films and often together on the same film. Each person providing insight to the other for stunt performance and safety concerns. In 2004 Kevin moved to Las Vegas, Nevada for a lucrative career in real estate and took a hiatus from film. Then in mid-2007 Kevin re-entered the film business and is now starting to do other roles in the western US. Kevin hopes to be able to work with the Studio F gang in the future and to work with new talents on new projects.
