Ugur Dündar

Ugur Dündar is a Turkish journalist, anchorman and writer. Dundar was born in Silivri district in Istanbul Province. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Economics. He joined TRT (Turkish Radio and Television Corporation) in 1970 and built a journalistic career over more than 20 years. He worked at a few press organization such as Milliyet, Hurriyet as columnist. He prepared and presented TV program Arena, one of the first examples of investigative journalism on TV in Turkey. Between 2008-2011 Dündar was the anchorman of Star TV where he headed the news team. After that he worked at Arti Bir TV as news presenter. Since 2012 he is writing for Sözcü and has a program on Halk TV.
