Born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Attended Loyola High School and received his BA from UCLA in 1991. A boyhood fascination with cinema and storytelling inspired him to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. To date, he has written and produced several short films that have played at various film festivals, including Angelo (2000) and Space Banda (2001). He co-produced the features Fright Club and the urban sci-fi GB: 2525, which premiered at the 2009 San Diego Latino Film Festival, and picked up Audience Awards at the 2009 Reel Rasquache and Cinesol Film Festivals. Estrada also co-wrote and produced the Spanish language thriller Unknowns and recently produced the shorts, Dead End and Peek-a-Boo and most recently, The Wereback (2021) which won Best Short at the 2021 Medellin Horror Film Festival.
